SIAMs Report In!
As you may be aware, we had an inspection two weeks ago because we are a Church school. This inspection looked closely into our school vision, values, school culture and ethos.
This inspection went very well. The children, staff, parents and governors all spoke with Mrs Davies and were a credit to the school. Unlike OFSTED, Church School inspections are no longer graded; however, please take some time to read all of the lovely comments about our school.
The school is a haven of Christian love and care.
The commitment to staff and pupil wellbeing means that the school is seen as a safe place for all.
Pupils flourish at Church Hill because they are treated with care and respect.
Relationships between members of the community are strong.
The school offers a strong sense of community and togetherness.
Supporting the vulnerable is a priority for the school.
The pastoral team enables students to grow in self-confidence and find space to explore their feelings.
Pupils are confident in taking responsibility for the world around them and challenge when they see something is not right.
Pupils and staff are encouraged to shine as a light and do good in the local community and the world.
The report also praised the excellent work completed by our governors. I have attached the full report for you to read and I am incredibly proud to be the head of such a wonderful school.
