Mr. Partner's Marathon Effort Raises Astounding £2,800 for Charity!
On Sunday, Mr Partner joined 50,000 people in running the TCS London Marathon in memory of Linda Partner - his beautiful, kind and dedicated mum. Not only did he complete this challenge at super speed, but he raised over £2,800 for charity. We are all so proud of his efforts and inspired by his journey... read on for more.
This is what Mr Partner had to say, "I would like to thank everyone who attended my fundraising events for YHA England and Wales or donated to my Bowel Cancer UK just giving page. Thank you to running for waking me up and making me appreciate the little things in life. I hope my journey from runner hater to runner lover will inspire anyone who is sitting on the fence about running and doing a Marathon one day."
"The London ballot is now open until 9pm April 26th. If you do not get a ballot place then look at the charities and how much you need to raise. You have a year. It is possible. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it."
